Hiring Description for Packaging Positions
1) Great Lakes Brewery, Toronto Ontario, has an immediate opening for an experienced packaging line operator. Come join Ontario’s Premier Craft Brewer located in the heart of Etobicoke! This is a full time position. We are looking for talented folks who want to build a long term career with us as we continue to grow past our 25th anniversary. Successful candidates should have the following: • At least 2 years experience in the beverage or food industry, specifically with fillers, labelers, packers and sealers. Experience with Cimec and Cask equipment a plus. • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of proper use of tools and machinery • An aptitude for trouble shooting basic mechanical & electrical systems is preferred but not required • Experience operating a forklift • Be physically able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, stoop, bend, lift 55 lbs at a time. • Strong attention to detail & quality • Ability to work all shifts, additional hours & weekends as required • Ability to lead and follow safety protocols

2) Multi award winning Great Lakes Brewery Toronto Ontario is looking for a full time cellarperson who can also help with bottling and canning Toronto Ontario.
Experience is preferred but not required, can be an entry level position.
Duties to Include:
Keg Cleaning/ filling
Tank Cleaning
Bottling
General Organization and Cleaning
Filtration.
You must:
Have a great attitude.
Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
Lift up to 55lbs repeatedly
Work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
Work in loud production environments
Work with chemicals of varying composition
Work from heights
Work in damp/wet areas
Work in confined spaces
Applicants should feel comfortable with the prospect of working overnight, early morning or evening shifts.
The ideal candidate would also have a formal brewing education and/or work experience, packaging operations and technical knowledge of packaging equipment, bottling line and tank/keg CIP experience, good mechanical skills and understanding of machinery, and a willingness to work on the packaging lines as a part of the packaging team.
