28 Feb SPOTLIGHT ON GLB SUPPORTERS: Adam Kemp @ TheBrewHead
It’s been a while since we shone the Spotlight on GLB Supporters, but we’re back with one of the GLB’s biggest and best supporters out there in the world! Yes, the world.
Meet Adam Kemp.
Kemp, also known as @TheBrewHead on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and more, is a Guelph resident who could be the largest home consumer of Canuck Pale Ale that we know of. LCBO locations in Guelph have, over the years, carried more Canuck at their stores in large part due to Kemp’s frequent searches for weekend imbibing. He’s helped, maybe without even knowing it, grow the presence of Canuck cans in “The Royal City”.
Not only a huge Canuck fan, Kemp has been a tremendous GLB supporter over the years, reviewing and profiling various GLB products and spreading event and/or charitable messaging. His blog features many reviews of other craft beers found throughout Ontario and his love for locally made beer shines through in his writing.
All of Kemp’s social media accounts are very active, including his YouTube channel. Kemp, who is hard of hearing and has a slight speech impediment, created his channel to boost his confidence with public speaking and to work on improving his speech, and doing so through Ontario craft beer reviews.
Kemp also came through in a big way this past December when he bid on one of the GLB Ugly Christmas Sweaters that we auctioned off for charity. He was the winning bidder and that ugly sweater looks great on him now (see below). He is also a regular presence at our annual Christmas Tap Takeover at the Woolwich Arrow, always sporting Canuck branding.
From all of us here at GLB we thank you for your continued support, Adam!
So now you know Adam Kemp, The Brew Head. Head over to his various social channels and his blog to read more about Gordie Levesque’s true friend.
