$10,881 Raised in Hops for Hunger Campaign

Published – January 13, 2021

Today we popped over to Daily Bread Food Bank, our neighbours here in south Etobicoke. We had a cheque to give them, via a well used mash paddle. A cheque in the amount of $10,881 from our 12th annual Hops for Hunger campaign. And we couldn’t have achieved this without you, dear GLB supporter. Thank you for purchasing cans of the Belgian Winter Ale and the White Eggnog Stout – beers made specifically for Daily Bread.

Thank you for making a donation through our online shop during the month of December. And thank you for the cash donations during our first ever Food Drive.

Speaking of Food Drive, we collected over 2900 pounds of food for Daily Bread back on December 12! That’s awesome! Along with the donations made in our retail store during December, we, on your behalf, sent over 3300 pounds of non-perishable food items to this amazing organization.

The annual Hops for Hunger campaign aims to help fight hunger in our community, and, together, we did just that.
