Wednesday May 6th – GLB & Amsterdam take over the taps at The Wren
Thursday May 7th – GLB & Amsterdam take over the taps at The Ship
Yes, you read it correctly. On Wednesday May 6th and Thursday May 7th, Great Lakes and Amsterdam Brewery will join forces YET again to take over the taps at The Wren (Toronto) and The Ship (Hamilton) on back-to-back nights.
The tap takeovers aren’t just your ordinary tap takeover. Nope. We decided to spice things up a little. Each brewery invited staff from both bars into their respective breweries to create a special collaboration beer which will be on tap at both establishments for each takeover. Each brewery will be responsible for 6 taps each, which include the collab beers.
With The Wren we brewed a Blood Orange IPA.
With The Ship we brewed a Mint Raspberry Belgian IPA.
The two bars, who are known for creating some mouthwatering burgers, will be doing a Burger-Off each night as well. Come out to the takeovers to see who pounds the meat better!
Not only will there be killer beers and burgers, but each brewery will have prizes to hand out during both takeovers, so don’t miss out.
