Here and There
Hazy burnt orange in colour, aromas of sweet toffee, molasses and orange pith. Low bitterness, pleasant notes of black tea and subtle citrus.
Bangers and mash, apple crumble, steak and kidney pie
Monty’s ESB has a floral and slightly earthy hop aroma and flavour. Despite the reference to bitterness in the name, ESB’s tend not to be as bitter as people unfamiliar with the style expect. ESB is traditional English style and it is bitter when compared to other styles typical of the time when it started being to be produced (i.e. not as bitter as a modern IPA). The medium-low bitterness is balanced with a bready and slightly sweet malt character with notes of light caramel or toffee.
