A throwback to a traditional English IPA.
Fish and chips with smashed peas, Beemster, Lamb curry, Butter tarts (with raisins)
Why should we categorize a beer that was developed in England long ago 'English IPA'? Most of you youngsters associate an IPA with the juicy, piney, citrus beasts that brewers all across North America create on a daily basis. But that doesn't mean that we'll cave and reduce the meaning of the acronym by applying a retronym. No sir. NO SIR INDEED! So, we won't be calling this an English IPA. We'll simply call it an IPA, thank you very much. And with that, we bid you a GOOD DAY.
