Electric Circus with a charitable twist

Electric Circus Tropical Pale Ale returns this Thursday… attached to a good cause.

Ken Pompey, the actual Dancing Cowboy who graces the label of Electric Circus, is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of No Wait Walk-in, an online gateway to total health care under one integrated network.

30 years ago he was dancing the night away in a dark steamy studio somewhere in the underbelly of Queen Street on Electric Circus, much to everyones delight, but today he and his son Dalton (former Toronto Blue Jay) have teamed up to get hospitals, and other healthcare professionals, some much needed personal protective equipment through the No Wait Medical Foundation. That’s where we come in.

For each and every can of Electric Circus Tropical Pale Ale sold, Great Lakes will donate $.75 (per can) to Ken and Dalton to secure, and acquire, hospital grade masks, gloves, gowns and goggles for Mississauga’s Credit Valley Hospital to protect medical professionals at the forefront of patient care.

Our brewery is extremely grateful to all the hardworking women and men in our terrific healthcare system who continue to help battle COVID-19 day in and day out. We are thrilled to work with Ken and Dalton to get these amazing individuals, and organizations, the protective equipment they need in order to keep themselves, and our communities, safe in these uncertain times.

You can help us with this by purchasing cans or cases of Electric Circus this Thursday (on the online shop at 5:30pm) and/or by visiting nowaitwalkin.com and making a personal donation.

Supporting local never tasted soooo good!
