The Position
The Inside Sales Support position represents GLB in building and maintaining relationships with our customers. This opportunity provides the individual with the chance to work with our GLB Retail Channel team to create and foster the GLB experience.

We’re looking for an individual with a passion for selling the Great Lakes experience to consumers, both new and existing, in a variety of contexts and settings. The Inside Sales Rep will come with a thirst for the craft beer industry and a willingness to share GLB beer education in every consumer interaction. With a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service, they will have experience in dealing with a multitude of customers in many different aspects of the industry. 

Key Accountabilities and Activities 

  • Manage the Southwestern and Northern Ontario territories remotely
  • Input retail channel orders for LCBO and The Beer Store
  • Communicate new listings and programming to stores via portal, email and phone calls
  • Manage inventory in stores to ensure no empty shelves
  • Support and assist Territory Managers as needed
  • Visit territories a few times times per year
  • Emergency deliveries to LCBO and TBS in GTA
  • Coverage of other territories when reps go on vacation
  • Use sales programs to complete weekly reporting and track sales progress

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong desire to gain experience in the craft beer industry sales field
  • A proven record of supporting and contributing to team environment and engaging all our communities
  • Comfortable with working evenings, early mornings, weekends and/or holidays as necessary to support sales activities
  • Must be able to maintain your professionalism while working in an environment of entertainment and alcohol
  • Must have exceptional communication skills including the regular use of social media tools
  • A clean driving record is essential
  • Smart Serve Certified with Retail Alcohol sales designation
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Drivers License – Class G (Required)
  • Previous sales experience an asset
  • Smart Serve Certified with Retail Alcohol sales designation

The Location:  
GLB is located in South Etobicoke. Conveniently accessed via TTC from Royal York Station, or via the Gardiner Expressway by car. The Mimico GO Station is within a 10-minute walk from the brewery.
