The Position:  

The On-Premise Sales Manager will plan and oversee the strategy and execution of all sales and distribution activities for on-premise / licensee accounts (bars and restaurants) across Ontario. They will lead and manage the licensee sales team and assist in the development and execution of strategic brand plans, bringing #FreshGLB to the province.

Key Accountabilities and Activities 

  • Managing and motivating a team of territory account manager to achieve individual and team goals
  • Set specific targets for sales team and individuals 
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between GLB’s key accounts 
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs and territories to maintain the relationships 
  • Develop plans to reach Ontario marketplace
  • Develop strategies that support licensees to promote and carry GLB products through events and promotions 
  • Anticipate key account changes and improvements 
  • Manage communications between key accounts and our team 
  • Plan strategically to improve results and grow GLB market share 
  • Create strategies for gaining and maintaining corporate accounts 
  • Work with managers, marketing, and team members to ensure that account needs are met 
  • Keep current with marketing and industry news (North America) of trends in styles, sales and other industry issues 
  • Adopt technological tools that support reps with timely information flow to achieve targets 
  • Regular ride-alongs to ensure reps are carrying the GLB brand in a manner that is in-keeping with GLB values 
  • Assist in the development of 18-month rotating product schedule that supports licensee team 
  • Collaborate with the Retail Channel Sales team to maximize sales 
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to management 

Necessary Knowledge and Experience 

  • Five years or more of previous work experience in alcohol and/or beverage sales
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Ability to multitask to manage multiple accounts 
  • Proven results of delivering and meeting sales goals 
  • Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently 
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player 
  • Self-motivated and self-directed 
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills 
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results to present solutions 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person 
  • Glass G drivers licence is mandatory
  • Access to a personal vehicle that can be used for work purposes

The Location:  
GLB is located in South Etobicoke. Conveniently accessed via TTC from Royal York Station, or via the Gardiner Expressway by car. The Mimico GO Station is within a 10-minute walk from the brewery.
