Job Description
Great Lakes Brewery (GLB) is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking craft beer lover to join our growing team in the packaging department.GLB is excited to announce we are once expanding again and are in search of the right candidate to join our production team. We are looking to add a full-time packaging line operator to the GLB family. This is a Monday to Friday position with the occasional required over-time. This position is entry level but in the quickly growing and exciting craft beer industry we are always looking for people who want to grow with us.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Assembling, filling and boxing all GLB canned and bottled goods
– Monitoring packaged product coming off the line to ensure utmost in quality control
– Assisting the warehouse team in loading and unloading of vehicles
– Supporting the retail store by keeping the fridges stocked at all times
– kegging duties as required
Requirements:
– Passion for all things Craft Beer
– Smart Serve Certified
– Minimum High School diploma
– Ability to work alone or in a team environment
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
– 18 years or older
We are looking for a hard worker with a passion for all things craft beer as well as a desire to learn and grow in this amazing community. The ideal candidate will have a background in warehousing or the manufacturing industry, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A valid forklift license would be a bonus.
