LACUS MORTIS RELEASE PARTY

We brewed a batch of Lacus Mortis West Coast IPA with our good friends from Third Moon Brewing, and we’re ready to celebrate!

THIS EVENT HAS ENDED
Date: Friday, February 13
Location: GLB Etobicoke (West Toronto)
Time: 6pm
Admission: Free to join!

On the northeastern edge of the Moon’s near face lies Lacus Mortis, the Lake of Death. Legend tells of a brutal clash between celestial beings: Bebos, ancient lord of the Moon, and Lackis, great ruler of the Lakes. Their battle raged until both collapsed, scarring the lunar surface forever.

Is any of that true? Absolutely not. But it sure feels like the perfect excuse to name a beer and a party after something ominous.

NOW LET’S PARTY

This party is for the cold hearts, the hop lovers, and anyone who’d rather raise a glass of #FreshGLB than exchange chocolates. Expect some rocking’ live tunes, special snacks, spooky vibes, lunar lore (mostly fake), and fresh pours of this glorious collaboration.

CHUCK COLES SETS THE TONE

We’ll also have live music with Chuck Coles, who will be delivering a no frills/no roses solo acoustic soundtrack that pairs perfectly with this anti-Valentine, West Coast bitterness, jaded hearts evening.

KILLING THE “CUTE” IN CHARCUTERIE

There’ll also be a charcuterie board special, technically for two but in the spirit of Lacus Mortis Night, we recommend that you enjoy it all by yourself. Each board features choice meats, cheeses, crackers, and a sprinkle of sweet treats. comes with two 12oz pours of your choice of either PDA Witbier w/Berries & Hibiscus or Lacus Mortis West Coast IPA, for only $25… because romance is dead.

ABOUT LACUS MORTIS

Lacus Mortis is a 6.2% West Coast IPA, brewed with our friends at Third Moon Brewing. It’s clear, crisp, and hop-forward, with bright aromatics, firm bitterness, and a dry finish that cuts clean. There is very little sweetness or sentimentality that makes this beer perfect for an ANTI Valentine’s Day/Friday the 13th celebration!

Skip the roses, forget the love songs, and join us in the shadows for Lacus Mortis.
