Great Lakes won an LCBO *Elsie Award! An Elsie award?
What the heck is that? We’ll let the LCBO tell you…
“The annual awards are presented to beverage alcohol suppliers and agents that demonstrate innovation, creativity and commitment to customer service and social responsibility.”
GLB won the award – MADE IN ONTARIO!
The awards are determined by the LCBO themselves and are a shining example of the amazing work our retail channel team has accomplished with the LCBO over the last year.
This award also highlights our commitment to supporting our community, focusing on our local market (Brewed for you, Ontario!), and the quality of our products. A true brewery-wide accomplishment.
The award, which also included the Ready-to-Drink category, was determined based on the following criteria:
- Commercial success – Sales growth year over year
- Product or supplier that embodies LOCAL. Whether it is their brand essence, promotional/marketing efforts, or customer experience, local is at the core of what they do!
- Commitment to sustainability and/or local community building, uses local ingredients, produced as much as possible from start to finish in province
- A great story behind the product/supplier. Awards and recognition
