RISE AND SHINE… SUNNY DAY IS BACK!
That’s right! Sunny Day is returning as we, once again, celebrate the return of the warm weather and good vibes with a province-wide launch of Sunnyside Session IPA, our endlessly drinkable seasonal favourite FOR IT’S 10TH YEAR .
Let’s face it. We have it tough here in Ontario. Whether you’re in the snow belt on the eastern shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, the frigid lakes north of T-Bay, or the mucky, slushy grey of the Big Smoke, it’s that time of year when we’re DONE with our holiday-spending hangovers, hibernation, and old man winter in general.
We figured it’s the best time of year to throw a HUGE party for the annual return of Sunnyside Session IPA, and invite everyone across Ontario to join the fun with a Midnight Tapping, a Beach Bash in Etobicoke, a Brewer’s Table at GLB Brewpub, a Sunny Trail pub crawl, an After Dark bash, and province-wide launches to send winter packing.
On Thursday March 26, 2026, we’re rolling out launch parties, first tappings, pop-ups, and more across Ontario, as we officially raise a glass to longer days, brighter pours, and one very crushable IPA.
On Wednesday, March 25 (Sunny Day Eve), we’re kicking off Sunnyside season by tapping the very first keg of Sunnyside Session IPA at the stroke of midnight. Join us at The Only Cafe with live music, contests, and more starting at 7PM as we count down to the first pour of the year.
We’re turning the brewery into a full-on beach bash for Sun of a Beach: a tropical party with #FreshGLB, live music with Pachedub Collective , and Jamaican food offerings from GLB Brewpub, pairing the perfectly with the launch of Sunnyside Session IPA. Tropical attire highly recommended.
For this special Brewer’s Table, our Chef and Brewmaster are teaming up to create a one-night-only dining experience inspired by all things tropical, bright, and unmistakably summer.
On Sunny Day, we’re hitting College Street for Sunny Trail: Sunnyside Session IPA pub crawl that celebrates the very first pours of the season across a few incredible bars, all leading to our main event.
We’re taking the party west and popping up at Society Clubhouse (967 College Street, at Dovercourt) for one night only from 7PM–11PM. Join us for free snacks, games, prizes, DJ Davey Dee, and more. Soak up this grand finale event to wrap up yet another Sunny Day.
On March 26 (Sunny Day), an incredible lineup of bars from all over Ontario will be tapping Sunnyside Session IPA and officially welcoming back patio season with us.

This crushable refresher pours a brilliant gold, with citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit aromas which make their way onto the palate. The flavours are elevated with a soft carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. A dry finish leaves room for the pineapple to linger.
With all the flavours of a big GLB IPA, Sunnyside is a remarkably drinkable session ale.
