It’s that time of year when what once was a sad, useless, empty can is now a shining vessel hope.
It’s Southern Ontario Beer Boys KANS4KIDS Drive! We’re so proud to be a part of campaign again this year, accepting your empty beer, wine, or cocktail cans and bottles all month.
THE COLLECTION PARTY: SAT, OCT 4
In 2016, Southern Ontario Beer Boys came up with a simple idea: turn empty cans into support for local kids. That’s how Kans4Kids was created. Since then, over $40,000 has been raised.
While we’ll be accepting donations in the taproom retail store throughout September (so you don’t have to hold onto them for a whole month), our big KANS4KIDS Collection Party is happening right here at Great Lakes Brewery on Saturday October 4th. Come by for Pizza, Smash Burgers, and other snack from the GLB Food Truck, a raffle for this year’s Octopus Wants to Fight Muskoka Chair, and a live DJ on the lawn.
THE BEER
We’ll be selling a special, one-off brew: S.O.B.B. Pale Ale. It’s a hazy pale ale with tons of juicy flavour, and for every can sold, a dollar goes to the cause.

The GLB Food Truck will be fired up and serving pizza, burgers, snacks & more! Come to the event hungry!

Can’t make it to the event? No problem. Next time you swing by to pick up some #FreshGLB, bring a bag of cans and bottles and hand them to a staff member.
Please bring your donations in clear plastic bags or boxes. We’re also accepting empty liquor bottles.
